Of my two abuse blogs, this seems to be the appropriate one to report this news, as many of the men clicking in here have struggled to love a woman suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder.
The Reading Eagle newspaper in Reading, Pennsylvania, printed an article featuring a first -- a vigil by family and friends for a woman who committed suicide after deciding she didn't want to live any longer with the pain of Borderline Personality Disorder.
As sad as it is, I'm encouraged that knowledge about this disorder is spreading -- to the point that a woman's death could be attributed to a disorder that so many people still don't know about or want to admit exists.
The more people hear about Borderline Personality Disorder, the better the chances are that Borderlines will learn that they can be helped with a mental health therapist trained in the new treatment methods.
